Nogales, Ariz., Feb. 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Alpha Pro Tech, Ltd. (NYSE American: APT), a leading manufacturer of products designed to protect people, products and environments, including disposable protective apparel and building products, today announced that in light of an extended and aggressive influenza season and in support of proper infection control, the Company maintains ample inventory of its National Institute of Safety and Health (NIOSH) approved N-95 Disposable Particulate Respirator.  Alpha Pro Tech produces the N-95 Particulate Respirator facemask at its facility in Salt Lake City, Utah.  

The AlphaProTech N-95 Particulate Respirator facemask’s unique flat-fold design features a Positive Facial Lock® (PFL®) and meets the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) and NIOSH’s recommended protection levels (where applicable) for many airborne contaminants.  The N-95 facemask filters at least 95% of airborne particles.  The integrated Magic Arch® technology creates a breathing chamber within the N-95 facemask by holding it away from the wearer’s nose and mouth.
