HealthEC Client DHCF to Present at 2019 State Healthcare IT Connect Summit in Baltimore
Department of Health Care Finance presentation to focus on realizing the Triple Aim in managed care organizations through performance monitoring
EDISON, N.J., March 15, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- HealthEC, LLC, a 2019 Best in KLAS provider of population health management solutions, today announced that the firm’s client, Washington D.C.’s state Medicaid agency, the Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF), will be leading a presentation at the 2019 State Healthcare IT Connect Summit in Baltimore on March 20.
Entitled “Optimizing Outcomes Today and Tomorrow: Performance Monitoring of MCOs to Realize the Triple Aim,” the presentation will illustrate how data management systems can support MCO comparisons, value-based care and health outcomes.
Scheduled for Wednesday March 20 from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor Hotel, the session will also highlight key measures that drive Triple Aim value in MCOs and include dashboard examples that detail how state healthcare agencies can analyze MCO performance.
Leading the presentation will be Kerda DeHaan, a management analyst at DHCF who currently serves as the administrator for DHCF’s health home program for individuals with multiple chronic conditions. HealthEC Executive Vice President Dr. Sanjay Seth and Juan Montañez, principal at Health Management Associates, are also scheduled to participate.
